Business address
Your handle, the public address your booking and manage links live under
Every workspace has a handle, and your public booking links live under it,
such as alur.sh/@klinik-sehat/30-minute-intro-call. Customers don't need an
Alur account.
The bare address, alur.sh/@klinik-sehat, shows your
default link, or no page if you
haven't set one. A new account starts with one: Alur creates a link
named after you, such as 1 Hour Meeting w/ Sari Wulandari (Temu 1 Jam w/
Sari Wulandari if you signed up in Bahasa Indonesia), as your default when you sign up, so the bare
address takes bookings right away.
Change your handle
- Open Settings > Profile.
- Type a new handle.
- Click Change handle.
- Read what Alur tells you will happen, then confirm.

Your handle and address
Every workspace gets a handle when the account is created, made from your name
(for example klinik-sehat, or klinik-sehat-4f2a if that is taken). Your
address is /@ followed by the handle. Each booking link
adds its own link address after it, and the links in booking emails to manage a
booking are /@your-handle/m/ followed by a secret.
A handle is 3 to 30 lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. It can't start or end
with a hyphen or contain two in a row, and a few words such as alur and
support are reserved.
When you change it:
- Your address and every booking link change. Links you have already shared stop working, so share the new ones.
- Manage-booking links you have already sent keep working: they forward to the new address.
- The old handle stays reserved for you. Nobody else can take it, and it can't be used again, not even by you.
You can change the handle once every 30 days; the handle you got at sign-up doesn't count.
